ISLANDSTUDIO.com is Shari Erickson and Douglas K. Gifford. We are wife and husband. We are professional artists of fine art paintings. Following years of gallery exhibitions, we now invite you to share our tropical visions in the largest online selection of original island images.

Our "island" of residence is a mountain top floating in clouds and fog. Although we spend every free moment visiting our friends throughout the Caribbean, our studio/home is a cabin in the Appalachian Mountains of Western North Carolina. Perched on Terrapin Mountain at 4,000 ft. altitude, there's nothing to distract our creative efforts except eagles and bears.
